Entrepreneur Magazine Ranks Wine & Design Among Top 100 Franchises for Less Than $100,000 in 2020

Investing in a franchise doesn’t have to be a bank buster, and Entrepreneur Magazine has compiled the best franchise opportunities with initial investments of $100,000 or less. Each brand is ranked, based on the scores they received in Entrepreneur’s 2020 Franchise 500 ranking.

According to their website, “More than 1,100 companies applied for this year’s ranking, and those that rose to the top reveal the latest trends as well as the companies that continue to evolve to keep going strong year after year.”

The rankings consist of five pillars. Some key factors that go into their evaluation include: Costs and Fees, Support, Size and Growth, Brand Strength, and Financial Strength and Stability. Costs and fees include: Franchise fee, total investment, and royalty fees. Support includes: training times, marketing and operational support, franchisor infrastructure, financing availability, and
litigation. Size and growth includes: Open and operating units, growth rate, and closures. Brand strength includes: Social media, system size, years in business and years franchising. Lastly, Financial strength and stability includes franchisor’s audited financial statements. Pillars and factors are not listed in order of importance.

Startup costs for Wine & Design fall between $69,950 and $221,200. There are currently 78 locations.
