Q: How does Wine & Design work?

A: We are a paint & sip studio who puts the ART in pARTy! At Wine & Design, we provide 2-hour instruction painting class by our professional artists! All in-studio events are BYOB (bring your own beverage) Wine/Beer and food/snacks (no hard liquor). Our artist will teach you step-by-step through the painting while you get to sip on your favorite beverage. By the end of class- you get to take home your finished masteripiece! All painting materials, instruction, plastic cups, bottle openers, and ice buckets are included.

* OPEN STUDIO classes are a fun choice for all types at all levels! Once you arrive, you will choose your masterpeice for the night and an artist will draw and instruct you as needed.  Not an artist? Don't worry, the paintings are rated so you choose your own level.  Open studio starts 30 minutes prior to the 2 hour painting session. Offered every night along with classic painting.


Q: Do I need to reserve my seats in advance? 

A: Yes! To reserve your seats for an upcoming class, please visit our online calendar and click on the painting class you would like to attend. Please add the number of tickets you need to your cart & continue to check-out. Payment is required at the time of registration. Q: Can I pay at the door?

A: Yes & No.  As of August 1st, 2018 ALL public class reservations must be paid when made. This is the insure there are fewer "no-shows" and allows us to adequatley provide the materials for your event prior to. You MAY PAY AT THE DOOR if you arrive at the scheduled class time and seats are available…first come/first serve basis and your seats are NOT guaranateed.   You may pay in the studio via cash/card or by phone or online via card.  If you are using a giftcard and are unable to reserve online, please call us (919)273-8007. 


Q: How do I sign-up for a class using a Gift Certificate, Credit?

A: Enter code on Gift certificate in Promo code section (must be signed in to use codes) or Please call the studio to register your seats over the phone. 919-273-8007


Q: How do I use a coupon/discount code?

Q. How does a "date night"  / "couples" painting work?

A. Well, any night can be date night in the studio! We offer a double painting set class specifically for couples or BFFS bi-monthly.  In this class our pro artist will teach you step-by-step as each of you paints a full canvas that creates one collaborative image.  Our date night classes are $30 per person.


Q: How many people do you need to have for a private party?

A: There is a 7 person minimum for an Adult Private Party at our studio ($30 per person). There is a 10 person minimum for an On Wheels event at your desired location.  (21 painter minimum for Large Room) If the minimum number is not met the night of your party, you are still responsible for payment of those seats. Q: What if I have less than 7 people for a party?

A: If you have a small group under 7 people, it is recommended to join a class on our calendar, open to the public! We are happy to seat your group together at one table. Q: What is the cost?

A: The cost is typically $35 per person for Adult Wine & Design classes & parties. The cost $25 per child for all Art Buzz Kids classes & parties.  Tues. OPEN STUDIOS are $25 per person.  The cost is $40 for a Paint-it-Forward Fundraiser (15% donated to your cause). The cost is $45 for Paint Your Pet/House classes. Q: Any other charges I should know about in advance?

A: To book & secure your private event, please call our studio to confirm event details, contact information, and complete deposit payment of $30 (1 seat) for adult party. We are happy to customize a new painting for your event, for a reasonable artist customization fee ranging from $25-$75.

Q. Military Discount? 

A. No. No military discounts exclusively. But be sure to follow us via IG and FB and join our mailing list for frequent deals.


Q: How long is the party/class?

A: All events are 2-hour long instruction class. We also recommend a 30 minute social/arrival time, for everyone to check-in, pour themselves a beverage, and mingle before we begin painting. We schedule an additional 30 min. for OPEN STUDIO classes to allow time to choose and have your image drawn/ customers still paint for 2 hours. All classes start no later than 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm. 


Q: What does the ticket price include?

A: Wine & Design provides a pre-traced canvas per person, artist instruction, music, all painting materials including aprons, bottle openers, plastic cups. Our professional artist will teach you step-by-step how to create your own masterpiece! Wine is NOT included.


Q: Do you sell alcohol, wine, beer, or food? Is wine included?

A: No. We are a BYOB (bring your own beverage) company. All in-studio events are BYOB. You may bring wine, beer, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, along with your own food. No hard liquor is permitted at our location. There are no restrictions on food. You may bring your own finger-foods, snacks, or choose to have your event catered. Some of our off-site location "On Wheels" events at restaurants are not BYOB, but you may purchase beverages/food at the location, depending on the venue.


Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Cancellation policy: In order to receive a full refund you must call 24 hours prior to the event. If you cancel the day of class/event, we will gladly extend to you a 90 day credit to use towards an upcoming class. If there is a threat of inclement weather or if the event has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. In this case, you will be given a credit to attend a future class of equal value. 

For Private Parties, We have a 7-day cancellation policy. If you cancel outside the 7 days, we are happy to reschedule your event or cancel altogether. If you decide to cancel your event within the 7 days, there are a few options for you! 

  • Reschedule your event to a different date.
  • Open your Private Event to the public, so anybody can join! We can still seat all friends in your party together at one table.
  • Join a class on our calendar, and we can seat your group together at one table.

Q. Why would my class be cancelled? How/when will I be notified?

A. RARELY, In the event that a public class does not meet the required min. sign up of 4 guests, the class MAY not take place.  Weekday classes will be deactivated by 3:30pm and Sat. classes by 4:30pm.  You will be notified by these times via text/phone and email.  IF THERE ARE NO PREVIOUS SIGN UPS for classes Wed. or Sun. we will NOT be open. 


Q: How do I book an event?

A: To book & secure your private event, please call our studio to confirm event details, contact information,Contract Submission and complete deposit payment of $30 (1 seat) for adult party; or $175 (7 min. total) for kids party. Once the party is booked, we will add your event to our calendar and a registration link will be emailed to send out to your guests, and paintings link to view our Wine & Design gallery. 919-273-8007 |

Q. What if there's already an event on the calendar and I want to book?

A.  No worries! We have 2 rooms available and can usually accommodate your group AND a public class at the same time.  Each room has its own bar for your use. Call for specific availability. 919-273-8007


Q. How far in advance do I need to book my party?

A. As soon as you can, our schedule is first come/first serve basis. 2 or 3 weeks out is a good plan.

Q: Can I pick the painting?

A: Yes! As the organizer of a private event, YOU get to choose the painting. Once your event is booked, we will email you a  link to view our Wine & Design paintings. You may pick 1 painting for your event if doing a CLASSIC STYLE party. We will be in touch closer to the date of your event to confirm your painting selection. OPEN STUDIO style selections are made by guests at time of event from the studio walls (not recommended for parties of 20 or more). 


Q: Do you have kids paintings?
A: Yes, we have hundreds of kids paintings! These paintings are simplified, bright, and colorful for kids of all ages. Popular paintings for kids are animals. Once you book your child's party, we will email you the link to choose your image. You & your child may look together to pick the best painting out for their event! Open studio not available for ABK parties. (Ages 4-13)


Q: Can my party guests pay separate? Can they pay at the door?

A: Yes. Once your event is on our calendar, we will email you the registration link and Private Event Code, that you can give to your friends to access your event to complete their registrations & payments online. If they would like to pay at the door the night of the event, they must call the studio to register over the phone. 919-273-8007


Q: Do you have Kids Camps?

A: Yes! Art Buzz Kids is a Kids Division of Wine & Design. We offer Summer Camps  and Holiday Workshops. All events are listed on our online calender, under Public Events & Art Buzz Kids section. (Ages 4-13)


Q: Do you have group discounts?

A: Yes!  As our reg. public class price is $35 ea. we offer a private party for $30 ea. with a minimum ot 7. (Must be booked as a private party). For larger parties over 30+ people, please call the studio to inquire about a party for your event and elaborate on details of your event.
