Franchise FAQ

About Us

The Experience: The sense of community we create and foster is really meaningful to us. We are a place where people come to relax, have fun, and make memories. This comes from our dedicated studio owners and artists paired with the incredible training we provide. Aside from the sense of community created on a studio level, we also have an amazing sense of community within our franchise. Each studio is dedicated to helping their sister studio succeed.

Our Brand: We take pride in standing out in the paint and sip industry with our chic and modern brand.

Our Divisions: In addition to our nightly classes, we also offer 5 divisions. DIY, Art Buzz Kids, On Wheels, Paint it Forward, and Team Building. These divisions not only allow us to engage in different parts of our community, but they also secure additional revenue.

Training/ Support

Training and support from our corporate team start the second you sign the franchise agreement. From helping you secure your studio location, to the planning your grand opening. We offer a structured outline and virtual training sessions prior to your in-person 4-day W&D franchisee training at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Training is separated into the three sections below:

  1. Orientation
  2. Wine & Design Franchisee Training
  3. On-site/Grand Opening

We do. In addition to training each franchisee to know what to look for in hiring artists, we also provide artist training directly to the artists that work in our studios.

Yes. We work with a team of real estate brokers to help find your perfect studio location. Everything from demographics reports, viewings, and lease negotiation.

Absolutely! Our marketing team is in touch with you as soon as you to sign the franchise agreement. We have marketing materials and strategic campaigns ready to use before, during, and after you open. We also help you to create marketing initiatives specifically for your market.

Getting Started

The first step towards owning your own Wine & Design studio is to submit your information. Upon receipts, one of our franchise development recruiters will be in touch with you and to help you get the process started.

This can vary. From signing the franchise agreement to opening your doors it is typically 3-8 months. This is a wide range due to the alcohol licenses that I touched on earlier. If you are in a state that BYOB is allowed then you’re looking at a shorter timeline versus a state that you have to obtain the license.

Discovery Day is one of our favorite parts throughout the process! During Discovery Day you get the opportunity to meet our amazing team at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC. We also will review the franchise agreement and answer any questions you might have to make sure you feel comfortable moving forward with executing the franchise agreement. This is also a great opportunity for you to visit Wine & Design sister studios in the area and meet the owners.
