Welcome to Wine & Design! No artistic talent is needed – just sign up and show up for a fun and creative experience! No matter the chosen experience, we'll provide all of the materials you need for a memorable time.

Open Studio is NOT an artist-guided experience. Staff will be present to help you get started and provide occasional guidance, but they will not be instructing you step by step. They will, however, be your biggest fan and cheerleader along the way!

Reservations are REQUIRED.

When using a gift certificate, simply book your spot on our reservation site like any other purchase, and enter the code from your certificate at checkout.

Pre-sketched canvases of images on our calendar can be accommodated with at least 48 hour's notice. Please indicate which painting from our calendar you would like pre-sketched in the comments of your order or email us! (Larger canvases can be chosen as an option in our drop down menu) Otherwise, we will provide you with a blank canvas, brushes, paints, and a pencil once here, the last option for your experience is to choose from our previously sketched canvases, once you arrive. THIS IS A TWO (2) HOUR SESSION. NO SKETCHES WILL BE MADE DURING ANY SESSION!

We Value Our Artists and Hosts Even in a self-guided session, our team is here to make sure your experience is smooth and joyful. They are working hard to support your creativity, and your appreciation goes a long way. Tips are never required but always welcome — thank you for coming prepared to show your support if you feel inspired to do so!

Outside food is not permitted, but we offer a delicious selection of food and drinks! Call to inquire! We strive to start on time, so please arrive early!

Late arrivals - Time will NOT be comped or restored for late attendees. If you're attending with a group, please include the number of guests and their names during checkout or email us to ensure you're seated together.

We welcome anyone over the age of 14. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Parking is available at the Shockoe Slip Parking Garage or on the street. Consider using a ride-share service as we're conveniently located on the bus route.

Important – ALL SALES FINAL – We do not issue refunds.

To receive a class credit, please notify us at least 2 hours before the event if you cannot attend. Class credits are valid for 60 days after the scheduled event. No-shows or those arriving more than 15 minutes late will not receive a credit. If you're more than 15 minutes late, you'll receive a take-home kit with your canvas/paints or supplies.
