Looking for a creative moment without committing to a full class? Pop In & Paint is a relaxed, walk-in art experience designed for flexibility and fun.

Guests are welcome to drop in anytime between 1–3 PM to create a 5×7 canvas. Most projects take 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace. Light guidance is provided by our studio team to help you get started.

No reservation required/accepted — just pop in, paint, and go, or stay and enjoy a drink from the bar. Feel free to call ahead as we can fill up. WALK INS ONLY

DETAILS We provide everything you need for a great painting experience: paint, 5x7 canvas, brushes, and all other materials. Please note that this is not an artist-led session—there will be no step-by-step guidance or assistance. This is a self-guided experience, ideal for those who want to paint independently and at their own pace. Our friendly staff is available to offer encouragement and answer any general questions, but you’ll be in charge of your own creative journey.

Food and beverages are available for purchase, including wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options.

Our doors open at 1pm, giving you plenty of time to get settled and start painting.

All ages are welcome, but guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Location: 1311 E. Main St. Parking is available at the Shockoe Slip Parking Garage or on the street. For convenience, consider using a ride-share service as we’re conveniently located on the bus route.

Please note: All sales are final. If you cannot attend, notify us at least 2 hours in advance for a class credit. No-shows or those arriving more than 15 minutes late will receive a take-home kit and will not be eligible for a credit. Credits are valid for 60 days from the original date.
