Ready to mix strategy with a splash of fun? Join us for an unforgettable American Mahjong Night at Wine & Design Durham! Whether you’re brand new or already hooked, this event is the perfect way to learn, play, and connect.

We’ll kick things off with a beginner-friendly lesson covering the basics of American Mahjong—tiles, the card, and how to build winning hands. Then, settle in for guided gameplay where you’ll sharpen your skills, share laughs, and maybe even spark a little friendly competition.

Sip on your favorite drinks, bring your crew (or make new friends!), and discover why Mahjong is having a major moment. It’s equal parts strategy, socializing, and satisfying “aha!” moments.

Tables are for up to 4 people per skill level.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to get seated and settled. Tardiness may result in the loss of your seat.

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE ONLINE. Classes last approximately 2 hours. This is an ADULT painting party. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Each person present in studio must have a paid seat.

If meeting a friend(s) please list the NAME(S) OF ATTENDEES IN SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS BOX so we can seat you together.

All high touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly and painting supplies are cleaned and sanitized after each use. We follow all county guidelines regarding masks and distancing.

** Cancellation policy as follows : All sales are final. Refunds will not be given in the event that a customers cancels their reservation. To receive a credit to be redeemed within 60 days towards another class you must email [email protected] before an event AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. ***

If there is a threat of inclement weather or if the event has low attendance, it is subject to cancellation. If this is the case, you will be given a credit to be redeemed within 60 days for another class of equal value.
