Art For Wellness Workshops
Wine & Design has collaborated with the American Art Therapy Association to bring you our Art for Wellness On-Demand Workshop Series with registered and board certified art therapist, Lauren Davies.
Art Therapy is a form of creative arts therapy that focuses on the use of the creative process to improve a person’s well-being through both their mental and emotional health. Art can be life enhancing and focuses on positivity to discover your personal strengths.
Art Therapy is used to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, reduce and resolve conflicts and distress, and advance societal and ecological change.

Workshop 1: Postcard to Self:
For this workshop you will be guided through making a Postcard to Self. This collage style project can be used to explore an affirmation, future goals or a way to process emotions.
Recommended Supply List: 5x7 Cardstock or old greeting card Scissors Glue Sticks Magazines or paper
Workshop 2: Mandala
For this workshop you will be guided through making a Mandala, a circular form with a center focal point, to harness its power for self soothing, emotional expression and meditation in a safe, contained space.
Recommended Supply List: Circle Stencil or Template Pencil Sharpie Stamp Pad Items to Stamp (ie. Stamps, leaves, sponges, carved fruit, etc.) Paint (Acrylic or Watercolor)
