Do I have to sign up in advance?
YES! Due to limited seating restrictions, registration and payment is required in advance for all public events to secure your reservation. What precautions are we taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
At Wine & Design, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. In recent state and county guidelines, face mask requirements have now been lifted and are OPTIONAL for all in-studio events! Prior to each class, our team members are sanitizing all tables, chairs, paintbrush handles, easels, bathroom, fixtures, and door handles. In addition, we are currently asking all guests to either wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
All sales final, NO REFUNDS! If the class is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or low attendance, you will be issued a CREDIT or RESCHEDULED to attend a future class. We can also package your painting as a take home kit or issue the value of your ticket as a gift certificate to give or use towards a future event. If you are sick or if there is an emergency and you are unable to attend class, please notify the studio immediately and we will add your name on file with a 90-DAY CREDIT. No refunds, no exceptions. What are your hours of operation?
We have “Office” Hours and “Studio” Hours. Our Office Hours are Tuesday-Friday between 2:00-6:00pm, and Saturdays 11am-6:00pm. Studio Hours vary depending on the classes/events we have scheduled that day. Typically studio classes and events are held Tues-Fri evenings, Saturday morning/afternoon/evening. Please check our online calendar for all upcoming events and class times. We offer some Specialty Classes on Sundays. Our Office is CLOSED on Sundays & Mondays; however, we may have classes scheduled and/or are happy to book a private party any day of the week!
How much is is a class or party?
Prices vary depending on the type of class. Our Adult Canvas Painting Classes are $37 per person, Kids Painting Classes are $27 per kiddo. We do apologize for any small price increases due to recent increases on costs of shipping and art supplies. Please subscribe to our weekly newsletter to stay tuned about upcoming discounts and specials! We do offer smaller canvas options for private events at a lower price point upon request. Specialty classes such as DIY Crafts, Wood Signs, Collaboration Workshops, Acrylic Pours, Paint Your Pet, Chunky Blankets, etc can all vary on pricing depending on the project, typically coupons are not valid for specialty classes.
Do you offer Take Home Paint Kits?
YES! Paint Kits are available to order on our online calendar or our Online SHOP! Cost is $27 for a large 16×20 canvas paint kit. You may choose ANY painting from the Paint Kit Options. Please include your painting choices in the Order Comments. Paint Kits include traced canvas, acrylic paints, printout of painting, tips & tricks guide, color mixing guide, mixing plate, napkins, and brushes. (Video Instruction is NOT Included for Basic Paint Kits) Paint kits are available for curbside pick-up Tues-Sat between 4:00-6:00pm.
Do you offer Paint Kits with Video Instruction?
YES! These are called “On Demand” Kits and they are available to order our Online SHOP! On Demand Kits include recorded video access of local artist teaching you step by step through the painting, traced canvas, acrylic paints, printout of painting, tips & tricks guide, color mixing guide, mixing plate, napkins, and brushes. Easels available to borrow upon special request! Paint kits are available for curbside pick-up Tues-Sat between 4:00-6:00pm.
What else do you offer?
We offer Paint & Craft Parties for all ages! Public Classes are listed on our online calendar for anyone to join the pARTy, Virtual Events (also listed on our public calendar, or book a private virtual event!) Private Events, Birthday Parties, Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Baby Showers, Team Building, Outdoor Events, On Wheels (Mobile Events at location of your choice), DIY Craft Workshops: Chunky Blankets, Wood Signs, Wreath Making, Acrylic Paint Pouring, Wine Glass & Wine Bottle Painting, and MORE!
What are your Private Event Options & Details?
There is an 10-Person minimum for all Private Events. Pricing is $37 each for Adult Canvas Painting Parties & $27 each for Kids Canvas Painting Parties. We are willing to accommodate a lower price point with a smaller canvas option upon request. As the organizer, you may choose the Date/Time and painting/project choice depending on availability! You may reserve the entire studio to yourselves (In-Studio), or we also offer Virtual Private Parties (Includes paint kits & Live Artist Zoom instruction), Outdoor Parties under our Olive Chapel Village Gazebo (between Aranda’s & Mr. Dumpling) and/or Mobile Events On Wheels at your venue of choice. You may pay for the event altogether or individually. Payment is required for all pre-traced canvases according to the final headcount confirmed before the event. A 2-Ticket deposit payment is required at the time of booking, nonrefundable but may be applied towards a future event. What if I like a painting/project but can’t make it that day?
It’s okay! Please contact the studio and we can sometimes move the painting to a different day upon request (depending on availability). We’re pretty flexible! Or you can choose that painting as a Take Home Paint Kit, or book a private party with that painting!
Do you take calendar requests?
YES! If you can guarantee at least 4-People, we are happy to add the painting of your choice to our public calendar any day of the week (depending on availability). Please call or email us with the painting and date/time of your choice and we’ll add it to the calendar!
Do you offer Kids Camps?
YES! Registration is now open for 2022 Art Buzz Kids Summer Camps here in Apex, NC! CLICK HERE to find a Summer Camp and register your kiddo online! *10-Person Limit, advanced registration required! Please check the Cary Location for Track-Out and Virtual Camp Options.
Do you offer Kids Classes and Parties?
YES! We typically offer Art Buzz Kids Public Classes every Saturday morning 11am-12:30pm. Pre-Registration is recommended at least 24-hours before the class date. We also offer Kids Private Events such as Birthday Parties, Girl Scout Events, Boy Scout Events, Parent & Me Classes and more! Cost is $27 for Kids 16×20 Canvas Painting Classes. *Smaller canvas and lower pricing options available upon request for private events.
