Create a beautiful, lifelike portrait of your favorite furry friend at Wine & Design! Unlike our themed Paint Your Pet workshops, which reimagine pets in a specific artistic style, our Photo-Realistic Style workshop focuses on capturing your pet's unique features using your own professionally prepared photo as the foundation for your painting.

Whether you're celebrating a beloved companion or creating a meaningful gift, our instructors will guide you step by step through realistic color, shading, texture, and detail. No previous painting experience is necessary—just bring your love for your pet, and we'll help with the rest!

One Pet Per Portrait

Each ticket includes one individual pet portrait on a 16×20 canvas.

Because this workshop focuses on realistic painting techniques and fine details, we are only able to accommodate one pet per canvas. Limiting each portrait to a single pet allows plenty of time for instruction and helps ensure you'll leave with a finished portrait you'll be proud to display.

Have multiple furry family members? We'd love to welcome you back to another monthly Paint Your Pet workshop to create a portrait of each one!

Photo Submission Required

Please purchase your ticket and submit a high-quality, high-resolution digital photo of your pet at least 10 days prior to your scheduled class. This allows us time to professionally prepare your custom canvas before the event.

For best results, please submit:
• The original digital image whenever possible (screenshots are not recommended)
• A sharp, high-resolution photo
• A close-up of your pet's face and upper body
• Bright, natural lighting with clear detail in the eyes
• Minimal background distractions

If your photo is too low in quality to produce a beautiful portrait, we'll contact you to request a replacement image.

What to Expect

Our instructor will guide you step by step through color mixing, shading, highlights, fur texture, and finishing details as you transform your prepared canvas into a realistic portrait of your pet.

This workshop is designed as a 2½-hour guided painting experience. Most guests complete their portraits during class with instructor guidance.

Because every pet is unique, some portraits, especially those featuring long, fluffy, or highly detailed coats, may require a little additional finishing time. If your pet has especially intricate fur or markings, we recommend planning your evening with a little flexibility if you wish to complete every last detail before leaving.

Each portrait is hand-painted by you, making every finished artwork as unique as the pet who inspired it.

BYOB Event

Bring your own beverages and snacks to enjoy while you paint.
Beer and wine only. Liquor is not permitted.
Guests must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
We provide cups and bottle openers for your convenience.

Important Event Details

Class begins promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and find your seats.

We cannot accommodate walk-ins, so please reserve your seat in advance.
Payment must be made online. Reservations are not guaranteed until payment has been received.

This is an adult painting experience recommended for ages 18 and up.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 are not admitted to adult classes.

Each person present in the studio must have a paid seat.

If you are meeting friends, please include their names in the comment box at checkout so we can seat you together.

Cancellation Policy

All classes are non-refundable.
To receive a credit toward another class, you must contact us at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Reservations made within the 24-hour window are not eligible for transfer.
No credit will be issued for no-shows. No exceptions.

Classes may be canceled by the studio due to low attendance or inclement weather.
If this occurs, you will receive a credit to use toward another class of equal or lesser value within 90 days of the original event date.
