Flat Brim Hat Burning Workshop

FLAT BRIM HAT BURNING WORKSHOP: Design and create your very own custom flat brim hat at Wine & Design Matthews! No experience is needed. Our local artist will guide you step by step as you safely learn hat burning techniques, transfer designs, and create a stylish, one of a kind wearable piece. Included hats feature an adjustable fit designed to accommodate most head sizes ranging from approximately 20–24 inches.

HAT BAR UPGRADES: Want to take your hat to the next level? Optional Hat Bar upgrades will be available during the workshop, featuring a rotating selection of feathers, bands, embellishments, and other accessories available for purchase. Selection varies by workshop and is available while supplies last.

BYOB: Our studio is BYOB. Feel free to bring beer, wine, or seltzers along with your favorite snacks to enjoy during the workshop. Guests must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

EVENT DURATION: Please allow approximately 2 hours for this workshop.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: Tickets must be purchased online in advance. This workshop is recommended for ages 18+ due to the use of heated tools. All guests must follow instructor safety guidelines throughout the workshop. Each guest must have a paid seat. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to all studio policies and event terms listed for this workshop.

ARRIVAL TIME: Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time. To allow our team time to prepare between workshops, guests will not be admitted into the studio more than 15 minutes early. Instruction begins promptly at the scheduled time, and arriving on time is important to the flow of the entire class. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be permitted to join and will be required to pay the applicable rescheduling fee to attend a future available session. Our instructors will not pause, repeat, or extend instruction to accommodate late arrivals. Please plan your travel accordingly.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All sales are final. Refunds are not provided. Guests canceling at least 72 hours prior to the workshop may receive a studio credit. Cancellations made within 72 hours are eligible for studio credit less a $25 restocking fee. No shows do not qualify for studio credit. All studio credits must be used within 60 days of the original event date.

WEATHER & STUDIO CANCELLATIONS: If Wine & Design Matthews must cancel due to minimum enrollment requirements, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control, a studio credit will be issued and must be used within 60 days of the original event date.

PHOTO NOTICE: By attending, you consent to the use of photos and videos for marketing purposes unless you notify our staff upon arrival.

GRATUITY: We believe every guest deserves a VIP experience. Our artists and event team work hard to make every workshop fun, memorable, and exceptional. While never expected, gratuity is always greatly appreciated and directly supports the artists and team who make it all possible. Gratuity may be added during checkout or provided directly to your artist via cash, Cash App, or Venmo.
