Heart & Soul - Therapeutic Art - Potion Of Positivity

Therapeutic art session led by the Art Therapy Practitioner, Rachel Chivers! We’ll kick things off with a lively warm-up to get those creative juices flowing before diving into our main project. These sessions are all about stress reduction, self reflection and healing. You'll explore the valuable resources at your fingertips to turn those ambitions into reality. We’ll wrap up with engaging group reflections and discussions that promise to spark new ideas and connections. Don’t miss out on this uplifting artistic journey! No experience necessary!

In this therapeutic art session, we’ll mix creativity with intention—designing whimsical “potions” filled with positivity, self-care, and hope. As you paint and create, you’ll reflect on the ingredients that lift your spirit and the magic you want to invite into your life.

(1) No artistic talent needed! Be prepared to relax & unwind.

(2) Doors open 30 min before painting start time. Guests are welcome to arrive 15 - 30 mins early to get settled and mingle. We will begin at the time listed above!.

(3) BEVERAGES: We have a VA ABC - Marketplace Liquor License that allows us to serve each customer up to 2 beverages. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED. Must be 21+ with a VALID ID to consume alcohol. We reserve the right to revoke this privilege at any time. CLICK HERE to see our Drink Menu!

(4) FOOD: You are welcome to bring whatever you would like food wise. We recommend keeping it simple to finger foods and snacks. If you would like to have Pizza or something delivered make sure that it does not arrive any earlier than your arrival.

(5) GRATUITY is included in your ticket. Our artists work really hard to make sure everyone has a great experience.

(6) For ages 21+. All attendees must have a paid seat.

(7) We are located at 502 Sophia St directly across from Brock’s Riverside Grill.

(8) Accessibility - Our studio is set with counter height tables and stools, as standing while painting is encouraged. However, we are happy to make special accommodations so that all guests are comfortable. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Also, we are located in a historic building that DOES NOT have ADA accessible bathrooms on premises, however Brock's directly across the street does and our guests are welcome to use them. WE DO HAVE BATHROOMS THAT ARE UP A SET OF 4 STAIRS.
