Wine & Design has collaborated with the American Art Therapy Association to bring you our Art for Wellness On-Demand Workshop Series with a registered and board-certified art therapist, Lauren Davies. Art Therapy is a form of creative arts therapy that focuses on the use of the creative process to improve a person’s well-being through both their mental and emotional health. Art can be life-enhancing and focuses on positivity to discover your personal strengths. Art Therapy is used to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, reduce and resolve conflicts and distress, and advance societal and ecological change. This wellness series offers a window into what it is like to use creative expression.
